Sing With Us!
COVID-19 NOTICE
Due to COVID-19, all HTCS events have been suspended until further notice.
We are awaiting results of a national scientific study on aerosol rates transmitted when singing and when playing instruments. Results from this study are expected to be released between July 22nd and 25th. At that time, we will consider our options for the fall semester and notify members. To be notified of updates regarding our 2020 fall semester, subscribe to our mailing list below:
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
There are none! Heart of the Triad is open to anyone and everyone who loves to sing. Our choir is a diverse group of music teachers, doctors, customer service reps, students, and more - all with varying musical experience. No prior knowledge or experience is required. We don't even make you audition! We strive for quality in everything we do, but our main goal is to create an environment where all feel welcomed and empowered to create beautiful music together.

OUR SEASON
Our season is divided into two semesters: August-December and January-May, each culminating with a major concert. Our fall concert is a program of holiday music, while our spring concert varies in content. Previous spring concerts have included classical music, major works, and show tunes.
We also have small optional performance opportunities throughout the year such as: singing the national anthem at sporting events, caroling at the Kernersville Christmas Tree Lighting, and more!

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 at Main Street United Methodist Church in downtown Kernersville.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
Members are required to pay dues to help enable the activities of the choir. In addition to dues, members are responsible for purchasing their own music each semester. Music packets are made available through HTCS.

FUNDRAISERS
Heart of the Triad hosts two fundraisers each year: traditionally, a Chili Cook-off in the fall and a Silent Auction in the spring. These events take a lot of time and effort to pull off! While we do not mandate attendance at these events, we urge members to remember that their participation is vital to the success of our community. Members are expected to participate in the preparation and execution of these events as they are able.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us. See you at rehearsal!
